What's On My Hooks, Needles, and Spindles:

In progress:

The OHM Shawl by Michelle Miller. In time out.

Tardis Tribute Socks: in time out

Knitted Knockers: www.knittedknockers.org. And free patterns abound; try Tit Bits on Knitty for the general idea. An A cup is a 5" diameter. Add one-half inch to increase to each larger size.

Finished:

Nancy got her Coronet!

Nancy's Coronet--my handspun and Cascade 220 in cream. Emerald green yarn is from fiber dyed by Red Fish Dyeworks

Dizzy Blondes:

No spinning...still spinning mentally about selling a few wheels off...

Strategy:
1, 2, 3, Magic by Tom Phelan, Ph.D.
A simple guide to using the most efficient form of discipline developed by parents and tested by psychologists.
How to start using it, how to manage those moments when your kid discovers how to defy the system. The Instant Time-Out. The kid who counts faster than you do.

Put a Lid On It:

Making your own Vanilla extract for baking.

Untitled

After 3 weeks of infusion....:

Vodka being infused with vanilla beans--3 weeks after starting. It is supposed to be usable now, but not at its peak.

Aw Shoot!

The Chardonnay Run: Crowded, but well-managed and fun. I took a lot of pics for other runners to support the movement to End Drunk Selfies.

As you can see, we got a glass of chilled wine and a decent box of fruit and cheese and crackers afterward. A pretty course, mainly flat and fast.
